Apache Corp. yesterday released Q2 earnings, reporting a 66% drop in profit as the tax provisions almost doubled. Current income tax provisions climbed to $249 million from $126 million in the previous year. Additionally, oil and gas revenue climbed up to $195 million. CEO, Apache Corp. commented on the report and said that their basic growth driver was the Permian Basin.
