Apache Corporation has joined Shell and other major players to scrap the infamous there by three rota pattern in the North Sea. With effect from the first quarter of 2019, all staff members on Apache’s operated assets will shift to the 2 by 3 rota pattern. Apache’s decision is in response to “employee feedback, an improved oil price environment and the need to remain competitive in the current market”.
