Norwegian oil firm, Equinor has awarded more work to Aker Solutions and Kvaerner in terms of hook-up and commissioning. The Johan Sverdrup field operator hired Aker and Kvaerner in a £85 million contract for connecting the riser platform’s seven modules. The firms will also perform preparatory work for the second phase modifications of the riser platform.
