Oslo-based Akofs Offshore has bagged Equinor’s light well intervention contract for a period of five years. The estimated worth of the contract is somewhere around NOK 3 billion. The Akofs Seafarer vessel will be used for all Equinor-operated licences in the period 2020 to 2025. The contract includes services such as running of well control package, wireline services, remotely operated vehicle, well logging services and well tractor use.
