With US sanctions on Iran finally taking effect, Russia and Iran have entered into an agreement for massive oil and gas exploration into the Caspian Sea, with three other countries. Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have been under dispute over Caspian Sea for its resources. The deal, if completed, will boost many projects.
