A new perforating gun system, ‘Tempo instrumented docking perforating gun system’, has been introduced by Schlumberger. This plug-in gun design has real time advanced down-hole measurements. This enables and monitors the well’s dynamic under balance which further creates clean perforations that would bolster the productivity of reservoir. This new system is flexible enough to accommodate perforating guns in most sizes and shapes and would enhance safety and reliability.
