The Norwegian Parliament has endorsed the development plan for the Equinor’s Johan Castberg oil project (Arctic Oil Project) in the Barents Sea. Johan Castberg is as of now the largest undersea field being worked on universally, as per Equinor and thus, it is presumed to support the economy of Norway’s Arctic region. The project is presently up for confirmation by the MoEP.
