Oil prices continued its journey downhill in the international market on Thursday, extending falls from Wednesday. US crude inventories buoyed up during last week, amidst week demand from refineries. Brent crude dropped 0.5%, to $70.62 per barrel. US WTI crude futures were traded 0.5% lower than their last close, at $61.11 per barrel. US saw the crude oil production climbing up to 12.2 million bpd, a jump of 100,000 bpd.
