Oil prices drop 0.6%

Oil prices fell in the international market on Thursday following a record US crude production. Benchmark Brent crude oil futures dropped 0.6%, to $60.98 a barrel. US WTI crude futures CLc1 were down by 0.6%, to $52 per barrel. Data from EIA showed US crude oil production reaching a record 11.9 million bpd in the week ending Jan 11.
