Oil prices slumped for a second day in the international market, edged down due to a statement from a Russian minister to boost crude output. Benchmark Brent crude oil futures dropped 0.1%, to $71.08/barrel. US WTI crude futures also dipped 0.1%, to $63.39/barrel. Last weekend, Russian Finance Minister said that OPEC and allies may agree on boosting production to retain the market share, currently overtaken by the US.
