Oil prices hold fast

Rising crude inventories in the US and new sanctions on Iran put oil prices in a sturdy situation today. Brent crude oil futures LCOc1 were priced at $74.61 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures CLc1 traded at $69.28 per barrel. The market has been closely driven by the US sanctions that kicked in this Tuesday.
