British exploration firm, Savannah Petroleum yesterday informed about a third oil discovery in Niger’s Agadem Rift basin. Savannah is yet to make an estimation of discovered resource and will be done through a well test program later in the year. The Agadem Rift basin has been in production since 2011 following development by a CNPC-led joint venture. Savannah is into preparation for drilling a fourth exploration well in coming weeks.
