UK-based Rovco is a subsea service specialist. Only after two and a half year of its incorporation, the company has been awarded the full suite of health, safety and environmental management system standards by DNV. It secured the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 accreditations. Founder of Rovco said, “Achieving these certifications so early demonstrates that we have robust, safe systems of work in place".

Downer EDI has secured a five-year-long maintenance and support services contract from Chevron. Downer will provide its services for Chevron’s Western Australia operations. The scope of the contract covers the maintenance of non-process infrastructure assets at the Chevron-operated Gorgon and Wheatstone facilities. Downer has a long-term work history with Chevron Australia, and this contract will, all the more, serve to strengthen their relationship.

The maiden edition of The Guardian Oil and Gas Award ceremony was organized on Saturday, in Lagos, Nigeria. The award ceremony saw the attendance of industry leaders from across the country. 15 organizations and several individuals were honored with awards for driving and leading the advance of the oil and gas domain. The ceremony was themed “The Guardian/ACAL OIL and Gas Roundtable and Awards”.
