Faroe pleased to partner with Shell and Spirit

Faroe Petroleum has announced its partnership with subsidiaries of Royal Dutch Shell plc and Spirit Energy Limited in Edinburgh. The combined operating experience of these energy majors, in both the UK and Norway, aims at bringing the drilling of the high impact exploration prospect in Edinburgh closer to fruition. Faroe is eagerly looking forward to this exciting cross-border opportunity.

Drilling begins in Faroe-operated Brasse East well

UK’s Faroe Petroleum announces comencement of drilling in its Brasse East exploration well 31/7-3 S, in the northern North Sea. Faroe has 50% working interest in it. The well’s vertical depth is said to be approximately 2,271 m, in water depth of 124 m. Transocean Arctic rig which is semisubmersible will be used for the drilling operations.

Faroe Petroleum's both infill wells are brought to production

Faroe Petroleum has announced that both new infill wells drilled by the oil and gas firm dealing principally in exploration this year on Tambar field in Norway (Faroe 45%), have now been brought successfully into production.
