Engineering giant, Worley has secured a Project Management Contract through its wholly owned subsidiary, Intecsea, for the Reliance Deep-Water Gas Project. The contract pertains to RIL’s MJ Field deep-water gas and condensate project. The scope of the contract includes provision of PMC services for the development of subsea gas and condensate resource traced in deep water of roughly 1,000 meters in the MJ Field, offshore India.
Worley Parsons informed that as a part of its JV with BP Plc, it has planned on taking 50% shareholding in New Zealand Oil Services (NZOSL).Under the deal between Worley Parsons and BP Oil New Zealand, NZOSL will assist with engineering, project delivery and asset management services for BP’s 7 fuel storage, handling and distribution facilities in New Zealand. Worley Parsons will become the preferred contractor of NZOSL.
Australian engineering firm, WorleyParsons has entered into a deal to acquire Jacobs Engineering’s energy, chemicals and resources business for $3.3 billion. Jacobs will now focus on higher growth, higher margin lines of business including aerospace, technology, environment and nuclear projects and buildings, infrastructure and advanced facilities. The transaction will take place through a $2.06 billion entitlement offer and a $700 million stock issuance to Jacobs and new debt.
