Tidewater Inc and GulfMark Offshore yesterday announced to have reached a merger agreement. This new venture will be operated under the brand name of Tidewater and the CEO of Tidewater will lead the company. The merger, expected to be completed by the end of fourth quarter of 2018-19, will most likely make Tidewater a global offshore support vessel leader.
