In partnership with Mahanagar Gas (MGL), Tata Communications is working towards deploying 5,000 smart gas meters in Mumbai. The idea is to give households and businesses visibility and control over their gas usage. While enhancing the operational efficiencies of the firms, the smart meters will help the customers understand better their energy use, save money and reduce their carbon footprint.
