British Columbia pursues Shell with Tax Cuts for LNG projects

John Horgan, the Premier of British Columbia, has reduced the tax burden on the proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects. He justifies the new terms as a framework where new projects will get built. His government is trying to convince Royal Dutch Shell Plc to go ahead with development in the western Canadian province worth $31 billion.
