India’s natural gas production in April increased by 5.10%

Indian Oil Ministry has reported that the country’s natural gas production grew by 5.1% in April, compared to the corresponding month, last year. ONGC had an increased production of 10.11%, due to better performance of the company’s onshore and offshore sites, thus increasing the nation’s overall production. Due to this increased availability, electricity generation from gas-based power plants in the country saw a 19.31% surge at 4,607 million units (MU).
