With OPEC cartel agreeing to a substantial rise in oil production in the Vienna meeting, oil prices downhill journey has now begun. Brent crude futures were traded at $74.21 per barrel, 1.8% lower from their last close. WTI crude futures stood at $68.40 a barrel, down 0.3%. Oil producers had reduced oil output by some 1.8 bpd since 2017 to regulate oil prices.
