Tommy Campbell, the Regional officer of “Unite the Union” is seeking help from Scottish Affairs Committee at Westminster to extract 20 barrels of oil in the North Sea. Unite will call upon the government to co-invest in the offshore infrastructure and research into the Brexit impact on skills in the North Sea. Unite is now asking for action in the midst of potential growth of the price of Brent crude oil.
