Growing U.S. crude production and expectations of higher OPEC supplies continue to puzzle oil traders as oil prices elevate higher. Brent crude futures rose 0.2 percent, to $75.44 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was up 0.4 percent, at $65.03 a barrel. The Vienna meet of OPEC is expected to result in increased production to ease the uncertainty over potential supply the shortfalls from Iran and Venezuela.
