As part of its efforts for clean fuel production to account for half of its total energy output by 2023, China’s Sinopec Group strives to expand its domestic capacity of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by more than double in the next six years. It also aims to enhance domestic shale production by two thirds by 2020. Sinopec also plans to build 1,000 natural gas filling stations by 2023.
